MAZDA2 Concepts Auto Show 2009 Los Angeles
This concept is inspired by the car on weekends, but can also function as an edge. The body has been changed to show a more aggressive front spoiler and a deeper side rocker for better aerodynamics and lower total cost of direction. A sharp decline in the diffuser is added to improve the relationship again, and more emphasis placed on the tailpipe. The higher rear spoiler has been redesigned for extra support and an apparent stroke. The new Mazda2 dynamic body is finished in a ceramic-metallic gray with subtle motor sport-inspired graphics. The graphics are on the historic number 55, a homage to the 1991 Le Mans-winning Mazda 787B race car ready. Wheels, mirrors and other details are accentuated in Spirited Green. To make it all, top performance and position are reinforced with 17-inch wheels, tires 215/45/17 Yokohama Advan lowered Coilovers H & R and Magna made sport exhaust system available.
