PSA could get Mini platform
BMW is using SAP in the areas to share its platform with Mini Peugeot & Citroën in the Office of the Chief Executive.
Norbert Reithofer said BMW is to speak French to his rivals on cooperation between the three companies, but has refused to give further details on the draft of the tie-up.
PSA & BMW are already working on the 1.4-liter & 1.6-liter gasoline engines in cars, the Peugeot 207 & the mini-series.
Company sources said the Financial Times, the talks are at preliminary stage "and BMW wanted to extend the use of mini-platform so as to make more sound.
The General Manager of Peugeot Philippe Varin said last week, the company designs to consolidate their partnerships with automobile manufacturers BMW & others, & it was "open to the investigation of other alliances or programs for cooperation."
